The BDC412 finds its application especially in fuel
cell vehicles with a high voltage auxiliary
battery. The
DC/DC converter is
able to regulate the high-side voltage, respectively the voltage
on the fuel cell side and can therefore provide very dynamically
energy for the traction system and compensate herewith the fuel
cells inertia.
But generally, the BDC412 can be deployed wherever energy has
to be transferred from one potential to another one. This device
has an excellent flexibility, so that other or additional regulation
features can be implemented upon request.
Owing to the high control accuracy the DCDC converter can be used
also as laboratory power supply.

The DC/DC BSC624-12V-B converter converts the main battery's
high voltage (220 to 450 volts) to the auxiliary battery's lower
voltage (12 volts) and charges the auxiliary battery. The DC/DC
converter also serves as a power source for 12-volt equipment
including headlamps, windshield wipers and horns. |
The Coaster is a new transport system for the transportation
of people and freight. As the first ready-for-production self-drive
system it will be deployed in two variants, namely the Downhillcoaster
(alpine) and the Citycoaster (urban). The Coaster combines the
advantages of individual transport and at the same time avoids
the disadvantages of familiar means of public transport.

entire power electronics for this vehicle, such as high torque drive system, battery
charging technology and auxiliary supply, as well as the
system concept, including autonomous operation and safety
concept.
