Parametrization of foreign motors with BRUSA inverters DMC5x

BRUSA offers also the possibility to parametrize customer motors.This occurs with in-house, high quality and professionally equipped test benches. The parametrization on the test bench will be done with the BRUSA inverter family DMC5. The DMC5 is a universal inverter and can be used for different motor types.

 

The parametrization can be done in different variants:

Variant 1

  • The customer sends the whole motor data (see Excel FileLink)
  • BRUSA calculates the motor specific motor table
  • The customer tests his motor on the basis of the sent motor table on his own test bench
  • Optional the customer can do some measurements and BRUSA optimizes the motor table with it

Variant 2

  • The customer sends some selected motor parameters
  • Construction of motor specific adapter plates and shafts for the BRUSA test bench (the construction can be done by the customer or by BRUSA)
  • BRUSA does the initial operation on the test bench
  • BRUSA calculates and optimizes the motor specific motor table
  • The customer tests and validates the motor on his own test bench

Variant 3

  • The customer sends some selected motor parameters
  • Construction of motor specific adapter plates and shafts for the BRUSA test bench (the construction can be done by the customer or by BRUSA)
  • BRUSA does the initial operation on the test bench
  • BRUSA calculates and optimizes the motor specific motor table
  • BRUSA measures the characteristic curves, for example:

    • Efficiency maps
    • Torque accuracy
    • Max. power / max. torque
    • Cont. power / cont. torque
    • Short circuit current / short circuit torque
    • Different voltage levels are possible

  • BRUSA does the whole documentation

 

The listed parameters in the Excelfile makes the motor parametrization much easier. If it’s possible to deliver all parameters and inductances in function of the currents Id und Iq, it can be omitted to build up the test bench with the customer motor (depending on the torque accuracy requirements of the customer).
