| Description |
| Although the DCDC250 also functions without an auxiliary battery, e.g. in small vehicles with low auxiliary power consumption, it is most suitable for use together with an auxiliary battery. Because sudden peak power requirements are covered by the auxiliary battery, the DCDC250's output is adequate in most cases. If an auxiliary battery is used it can be of low capacity, as it is only required to cover peak power requirements. |
