All BRUSA 3-phase AC motors are liquid cooled and thus achieve high constant power. They have good efficiency and are well suited for the requirements of a traction drive. The HSM motor in particular has constant power over a wide rpm range and is thus ideally suited for a traction drive with constant gear ratio. In order to achieve optimum results, it is mandatory to match the inverter excactly to the motor parameters, like we do it with our inverters by default.
